Gifts to Guilford Rise and Pre College Programs contribute to...
Our program provides a pre college experience for high school students interested in Guilford College. It is a wonderful "on ramp" for students to begin to see themselves on a college campus. Students take two classes and receive six college credits upon completion of the program. They live on campus, work with faculty and staff, and generally get to know Guilford inside and out!
$5000 helps us offset the costs of tuition for students in need. Honestly, every little bit helps us!
Rise is an amazing admissions tool but it also is part of our civic work. We help students who may be anxious about college start to feel comfortable on a college campus and to experience what college is all about in a safe and supportive environment.
