Gifts to Black Alumni of Guilford College (BAGC) contribute to...
For over a decade, The Black Alumni of Guilford College-BAGC have generously contributed to the needs of students, providing financial support, advocacy, enrichment and networking opportunities. Established in 2015, their BAGC Scholarship Fund (formerly known as BAGC BOOST) has awarded over $50k in merit awards and financial aid to students of color.
Noting 2024 as the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Black alumni at Guilford College with the first Black graduate, Washington Rakama ‘64, the donor goal is 60 and the amount is 2024.
Monies will go directly to students, lowering their tuition costs, providing books and supplies and settling senior balances.
